CANOEING
Canoeing is an activity that some could regard as not particularly challenging.  The opposite is quite true.  With two people in a canoe the emphasis is on teamwork, communication and quick decision making.  Our canoe activity teaches basic strokes, handling, and safety, and is conducted on dams, lakes and placid river systems.  Personal floatation devices (PFD) are worn at all times.  Once paddling and manoeuvring skills have been mastered, the group will be encouraged to extend their skills in a game of canoe volleyball or storm the galleon.  The objective of our canoeing activity is to teach participants how to enjoy canoeing correctly and safely while having fun.
